According to association president Nathan Cooper, that decision is a work in progress.
Following the highly successful debut event, the association will continue to work with MidCoast Council on the future of drag racing in the Manning.
"We will see how we can improve on the one day event," Nathan said.
"We will work out plans and ways to make sure the council is happy and can see the progress.
"It will also sort out issues, if any, as we continue to work together."
No time frame has been set for when another event may occur or when talks with council will continue.
A capacity 50 vehicle field of cars and motorcycles were pushed to their limits at Taree Airport on Saturday, October 26.
"I'm quite happy with how the cars went down the track, they were well presented and organised," Nathan said.
"They all kept to the rules the committee stipulated, such as no burnouts.
"The crowd was fantastic, they stuck to the protocol.
"I'm proud of what everyone has done."
Any initial fears were quickly quashed.
"We were worried that as a new club with no one who had run an event before, the event would be a shambles so I was really happy with how it turned out," Nathan said.
The only downfall he could find was the heat.
"I wouldn't have wanted it to be on a sweltering hot day but what can you do," Nathan said.
For its first outing, the committee decided to avoid timed races and instead awarded trophies to those competitors deemed to deserve them.
"We had trophies with the Mid Coast Drag Racing Association and sponsor Speedflow's names on them and picked out the cars that stood out to us," Nathan said.
"We didn't want the fastest or slowest car for example, just the ones that looked good and stood out.
"The competitors were happy with that format."
The association's Facebook page, which attracted a strong following before and after the event, was filled with positive feedback from satisfied spectators.
For any future events, Nathan said elimination style racing could be introduced.
"This would be bracket racing where they nominate a time, have some start with a delay and both hit the line at the same time," Nathan said.
