Halliday's Point seniors visit
A mini coach with 16 seniors for Halliday's Point Senior's Group visited Tinonee Historical Society's Museum on Thursday morning and due to uncertain weather conditions decided to have 'morning tea' at the Museum during which time president Jenny gave them a talk on Tinonee's history and development before spending an hour or more then looking at the exhibits and reminiscing over the artefacts on display. Several of then also explored the garden, the stables and gaol cell before gathering for a photo in front of the Museum. Saying their goodbyes it was time to re board the coach and head to Wingham where they were to enjoy lunch.

A number of topics were touched upon including roads and funding for health and community projects. Mr Bromhead makes these visits about four times a year and welcomes locals to come and speak with him in an informal situation.
Games morning at St Luke's Church
The first of what is hoped will be a regular weekly happening took place at St Luke's Church Hall in Winter Street last Tuesday morning April 30 from 10am - noon approximately.
In all about 18 persons were present and they had a lot of fun as they tried their hand at some of the older well known board games, the were around before mobile phones came on the scene, and were surprised how much they enjoyed it.
